Intelligent Characters in Virtual Environment

VR systems are important for many applications such as education and entertainment. In this paper, we design a method to construct intelligent characters in virtual environments based on group characteristics. Every character is encapsulated as an agent model; a combination of the geometric model describing characters’ spatial characteristics, and the behavioral model with a reasoning function. The example illustrates that this method can dynamically represent characters more efficiently, autonomously, and intelligently.
